MH Construction was founded on a straightforward belief: New York homeowners deserve contractors who show up on time, communicate clearly, and deliver work they are genuinely proud of.
We have built our reputation one project at a time — from kitchen renovations in Park Slope to full gut remodels on the Upper East Side, bathroom transformations in Astoria to basement conversions in Bay Ridge. We Know New York
Renovating in New York City is not like renovating anywhere else. Between DOB permits, co-op board approval processes, landmark restrictions, lead paint regulations for pre-1978 buildings, asbestos testing requirements, and sound transmission codes for multi-family dwellings — the regulatory landscape alone can derail a project if your contractor doesn’t know the system.
We do. We’ve filed DOB applications, prepared alteration agreement packages for co-op boards, coordinated with building supers on delivery schedules and elevator reservations, and navigated LPC requirements for brownstones in historic districts.
